WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
The Children’s Cancer Fund was organized in 1997, as an affiliate
of the Jackson Memorial Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) charitable
organization.  Since its inception, the Children’s Cancer Fund
has provided its patients and their families with the support,
knowledge and guidance they need to cope during times of
physical, mental and emotional struggle.

The mission of the Children’s Cancer Fund is to provide support
for family-centered care to children diagnosed with cancer and
other blood disorders, by enhancing their psychosocial,
emotional, educational and medical well-being.  These services
are provided to children being treated for cancer, sickle cell
anemia, hemophilia and other blood disorders, as well as those
undergoing stem cell transplantation at the University of
Miami/Holtz Children’s Hospital at Jackson Memorial Medical
Center in the Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

We are a proud affiliate of the Jackson Memorial Foundation.
JMF facilitates the University of Miami and the Jackson
Memorial Medical Center in providing South Florida’s residents
with top-quality medical care. Through the use of research
programming, JMF unearths imperative medical advancements
for those in need. Working on behalf of the Miami-Dade County
Public Health Trust, JMF leads fundraising activities and provides
resources for the South Florida community. For more information
